In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, HALLELUJAH!!

—Hanna Yoo

"Humans are to fear more than Ghosts" is the twenty-first released episode of Zero Game by Zelbasen. Hanna and Alex enter Level Two, administered by Micaela, and is attacked by zombified deceased players.

Plot[]

Ep20 01

After their visit to the Ability Shop, Hanna and Alex traipse into the Cemetery to look for the church where Micaela resides. In order to enter Level Two, they need to dip the Divine Sword into the blood of Arachne, a creature whose appearance can morph into the look of anyone the player misses most or feels close to. Seeing Alex fidget nervously as they walk through the cemetery, Hanna playfully scares him by grabbing his ankle. Indignant from the prank, Alex is suddenly caught off guard when a zombie appears and grabs him. Frantically, Hanna pulls from her inventory the exorcism products Loveme sold them and threw them at the Zombie one by one, including Garlic, Holy Water, and a Flash Ammunition that lights up the entire cemetery.

Ep20 02

When none of the items worked, Hanna pulls out the Holy Bible and slams it on the Zombie's head, effectively rendering it motionless.

As Alex tries to come to terms with the fact that his Electronic Master ability was less effective on killing a Zombie than a book, more Zombies start crawling out of the shadows, surrounding them. Hanna and Alex quickly realize their abilities are useless against them. Hanna uses the Flame ability to pave an escape route amidst the swarm of Zombies and she and Alex manage to hide in an abandoned building. However, the Zombies quickly follow them to the building, smashing the window and grabbing ahold of Hanna. Alex sticks out his arm just as one of them tries to bite Hanna, its teeth sinking into his forearm instead. A sudden flash of blue light shines through the window and the Zombies disappear.

Ep20 03

Johan Lee enters the building and sees Hanna and Alex on the floor, catching their breath. Noticing Alex's body emitting no glow, Johan grabs him by the throat and threatens him. Hanna activates the Flame ability in defense, insisting they are all players. Johan's vision begins to blur as he apologizes, confessing he is tired and made a mistake. Letting go of Alex, Johan explains to them that the Zombies are deceased players whose wills to live transformed them into undead monsters that interrupt active players from reaching the Church. He offers to guide Alex and Hanna to the Church under the condition that he goes with them. He reveals that he already has The Dagger With Arachne's Blood and will not get in their way; he simply wishes to meet Arachne again.
